Todos os programas de poker online lucram a partir de taxas que cobram durante os cash games e torneios. Essa percentagem de comissão é designada de rake, que de uma forma geral é de 5% do pote final em cash games, e 10% em torneios. Para quem joga em limites baixos, ou torneios baratos, esse valor tem pouca relevância. Entretanto, para quem joga em níveis médios ou altos, esse valor pode ser bastante significativo. Por exemplo: em uma mesa de Texas Hold’em NL $1/$2, é frequente um rake de $2 a $3 dólares para cada mão. Já um torneio de $100, em geral paga-se $10 a mais como taxa.
O Rakeback surgiu já há algum tempo. Basicamente as salas de Poker devolvem parte dessa comissão aos jogadores. Depende de sala para sala e dos acordos que consegues, mas regra geral, os valores que obtens são bastante relevantes, principalmente se fores regular no poker.
